Can you buy ds games on eshop
Thanks for the answers. That really freaking sucks because I would have spent some money on them because I never owned a reg DS but don't really have to bother with carts. They should totally DS games to the eShop. They need to bring all games to 3ds eshop.. Hell even n64 games would be pretty cool since i doubt the 3ds is weaker then that system. I want more then just zelda and the few 3ds games they have on there. Purchase and download Select the "Tap here to purchase" button for the game you'd like to buy.
Add funds if needed with a Nintendo eShop Card or credit card. Once your download is complete, you can return to the Home menu to find your new game. The Nintendo 2DS is an entry-level version of the Nintendo 3DS which maintains otherwise identical hardware, similar functionality, and compatibility with software designed for the Nintendo DS and 3DS.
The Digital Advantage The most obvious benefit of downloading a digital copy of a game onto your console is the fact that it doesn't take up any physical space. You won't have a shelf full of old Switch games that you never play anymore. You also don't have to worry about losing the cartridges.
The launch comes just a few months after the game became available on the Nintendo Switch. If you 're planning to get the game, you can only play it on the New 3DS and New 2DS , as older versions of the consoles aren't compatible. Here's what to expect. The 3DS isn't officially dead : Nintendo has said that it plans to continue supporting the platform. But the launch of a dedicated handheld Switch suggests the company's portable game efforts could be focused on the Switch, not the 3DS , moving forward.
Not to mention it still manages to keep 3DS alive with several solid releases throughout the year. Nintendo fans have a lot to look forward to in and beyond. If this is the case then the first thing to try is to insert a game and then take it back out several times in a row like What then? You lose all your data. There's no need to put DS games on there. Not as long as the 3DS is backwards compatible. I'm not sure, but didn't nintendo say it would eventually?
I could see the appeal of buying some hard to find niche title on eshop. I mean i'd rather do that then pay for dragon quest v great game, but no game is worth that much GloryChaos 9 years ago Following this logic, there is no need to have anything on the eshop since you'd lose your data once you break your 3ds. As long as they sell 3ds games on there, this will never make sense as any sort of reasoning.
If you want to argue against digital purchases in general, then that's another story. Backwards compatible or not, I don't really see the downside in doing this. Sure, I'd sooner see more gba games and the like but I wouldn't mind seeing DS games at all.
